Just a Little 'Chit Chat'

Hey everyone, it's Tiffany.

Alrighty everyone, I just want to start off with a great big thank you to everyone! It makes me so happy to get on to my blog and see how many people have actually viewed my blog. So with that said, if you like my writing, even though this is more of my experiences, then check out my wattpad. I am currently working on three stories right now.

The first one is called, "You're Late", it's a Luke (5 Seconds of Summer lead singer) fanfiction. It's about a girl named Ashley, who is dating Luke, and while he is away on tour she finds out something that she fears will /possibly/ ruin their relationship. Then Luke surprises her one day and shows up while they have a little break and she is left with no other choice but to tell Luke, she's pregnant.

The second one is called, "The Boy Who Changed Everything", and it is my baby. It's about a girl named Mattie (Matalyn) and she is starting her junior year of high school and has no interests in any kind of relationship with anyone, and then Drew (Andrew) comes along and potentially turns her life upside down. I just started it, but it'll be great.

And the third one, I just started today actually. It was a request from a good friend of mine, her name is Reagan, and it's called,"The Tale of the Two Managers", and well it's a fanfiction also, but it's not. Reagan is the manager for the band Pierce the Veil and Noah is the manager for Sleeping With Sirens, they go on tour together and throughout the tour, Reagan develops feelings for Noah, who has his own hopes to start his own band one day, so with the help from the two bands, his hopes come true. But where does that leave Reagan? -Like I said, I just started it, so it's a little rough around the edges right now, but it'll get there.

So I hope everyone enjoyed my last blog about my first 'Summer Trip' to Girls State. My next 'Summer Trip', will be about Beach Camp, which is my churches version of church camp. So yes, I will be talking about religion, so fair warning.

So when I finish my little 'Summer Trip' series, I was thinking about starting a different kind of series. Like what's in my purse, what's my summer essentials, what is my daily makeup, what's in my car, what's on my playlist, and doing a monthly favorites blog (starting with July!), I could also do one about my monthly ipsy glam bag -which could include pictures of the bag, the products and a little review on each, I could start with July on that too. And if you have any other suggestions, PLEASE let me know!

I don't want my blogs to be the same each time I blog, I want them to vary a little bit, so what I might do is set up a schedule, and have certain days dedicated to that type of blog. So be on the lookout for that!

Well guys, I don't have anything else to say really. But thank you all again so so so so so very much!!

Talk to you soon!!

XOXO, Tiff!!

"Summer Trip" Girl's State

Hey everyone, it's Tiffany.

So starting off with my "Summer Trip" series, we have Girl's State first!
From my guesses, most of you don't even know what Girl's State is, so before I get into my time at Girl's State, let me give you a /brief/ description of Girl's State.

Alright so Girl's State is a six day long program (Sunday-Friday). And basically if you have an interest in government, or in women's rights (feminism) then Girl's State is the program for you. When you get to Girl's State you are divided into counties, cities, and also federalists and nationalists. Just because you are a federalist/nationalist at Girl's State does not necessarily mean you actually are a federalist/nationalist, it's just a way for them to separate everyone for elections. So you run for different governing positions at the city level, county level, and state level. You even have the chance to run for governor, which is pretty cool during rally night (which I'll explain later on). But even if you are not into government or feminism, that's not what Girl's State is only about. You also meet people that will be your friend for life, it also gives you a ton of opportunities that you may not get if you did not attend Girl's State. Overall it is a really great program and I recommend everyone to go.

And don't worry boys, there's a Boy's State too. I don't know much about Boy's State but everyone that I know that has gone has loved it.

Alright so now to my experiences at Girl's State. So this year was my second year at Girl's State, I went last year as a delegate and this year as a counselor. I will say, being a counselor is so much more fun then being a delegate. Being a delegate was a ton of fun too but I loved being a counselor.

Now for counselors we have to be there on Saturday. When we get there we have several meetings and little lessons we have to go through and then we get to go to our dorm rooms (in Arkansas, Girl's State is held at Harding University), once we get there we unpack and then the fun begins. DECORATING. For our city (Montgomery) we did a Hollywood theme.

It was a lot of fun decorating, a little difficult since it was outside, then once we finished decorating we had to go to each of our girls rooms (all 17 of them) and lay out their textbooks, pens, shirts, name tags and the oh so famous visors. Then the next day was pretty calm /crazy/ when the girls were arriving and getting ready for our first city meeting. Then after that we are either having elections, or a session in the Benson (which is actuallly Antartica, its /freezing/ inside there.)
We also have a few other things we do, like inauguration night, go to the state capitol, rally night, talent show, and overall bond with each other.

Montgomery City Counselors

Montgomery City Delegates

Montgomery Feds (Rally Night)

So rally night is one of the funnest nights at Girl's State. You get to dress in either all blue or all red to support your party (nationalists or federalists). Its basically like a big pep rally. So you spend time making up chants based on your group and who your candidate for governor is. And then everyone running for state positions will get to go through this tunnel we make with our bodies as we cheer them on and they run on to stage, then once everyone running is on stage, the speeches begin.

Montgomery City: Inauguration Night
So inauguration night. It's one of the biggest  nights, because the delegates do not have to wear their visors. Which is a big deal because we dress up for inauguration night and wearing the visors defeats the purpose of doing your hair.

Montgomery City

So that's my experience at Girl's State. I really love it. If anyone has any questions about Girl's State or even Boy's State feel free to comment and I'll try my best to answer the best I can.

Talk to you soon!!

XOXO, Tiff!!

A Little Update

Hey everyone, it's Tiffany.

So first of all I would like to apologize to everyone. I know I have been gone for several weeks now. And the reason for that would be I have been jam packed busy! Which is no excuse to leave y'all hangin' so no worries I have a TON of blogs coming soon (very soon)!

Which brings me to my second thing. It's summertime, which means trips on top of trips on top of trips. In other words it means /normally/ you are VERY busy. So what I'm getting at is I have been on several 'trips' this summer and I want to share them all with y'all! So with that said, I am in the works of getting ALL the pictures I want to share with y'all together, so I can make separate blogs for each trip, which is actually only three (but it feels like many more than that), so each week for the next several weeks on top of a weekly blog (that I am going to start doing every week now that summer is /sadly/ coming to an end) I will also be doing a "Summer Trip" type of blog.

So with all that said, I hope everyone is doing GREAT and having a fabulous summer!
Now more about y'all. I would like to give y'all the biggest thank you ever. Y'all have been so great and have been a really great audience (even though all I've wrote is two blogs, well now three.) I hope my blogs help you in some kind of way, even if all it does is bring a smile to your face or a laugh, that seems like I made some kind of impact in my books, so I'll take it! Thank you guys again so much! It really does mean the world to me!

Well everyone, that's all I have today. Be on the lookout for the first "Summer Trip" blog, which will start with Girl's State!

Talk to you soon!!

XOXO, Tiff!!

P.S. I mentioned that I write, currently I have one writing up that has currently seven parts on my wattpad! So if you haven't yet, check it out at https://www.wattpad.com/user/tiffanylynn067

New Chapter

Hey everyone, it's Tiffany.

So as most of you know I just graduated high school and I'm starting my first semester in college. It's pretty terrifying. Moving away from home, letting go, meeting new friends and people, possible new love interests, new opportunities, the list is endless.

I've never really been away from home before. I mean for a week for camp and girls state but several weeks away from home? Never. Not seeing my mom everyday or dad or siblings. That's crazy.

Now the process of getting to this point. It's so stressful. So everyone listen to your parents. Most of the time they know what they are talking about.

A few things I wish I would of done differently are first, scholarships. Apply to them all. Literally. All. Of. Them. Second, if your mom says, "you need to call the school and keep up with everything and make sure your application process is good." Listen to her and call the school. This is my biggest regret. I'm now starting in the spring versus the fall at my first choice college due to one phone call. Don't let this happen to you. Third, don't let anyone tell you to do something that you honestly don't want to do. College is all you. Not your parents. So make the right choices. And don't settle for anything other than what you absolutely want. Other wise, what's the point? You'll end up just screwing up what you had going for yourself and possibly ruining all of your college career together. And in the end it's not worth it. Fourth, get your FAFSA done as soon as you can. I did mine over Christmas break on the first day 2015-2016 college students could. And it made me ahead of everyone. So get it done as soon as you are able to.

I know college is terrifying to think about. But I hope I can teach you guys or at least take yall with me on my college adventures and make it less terrifying for you when you start college.

Talk to you soon!!

XOXO, Tiff!!

PS. This was written on my phone so please excuse any mess ups!!!

ALL about me

Hey everyone, Tiffany here.

Not totally sure how this whole 'blog' thing works so this will be quite the little learning experience for us all. At least I sure hope that not only I learn something from y'all but y'all also learn something from me. So first things first, let me tell y'all a little about myself.

FIRST, my name is Tiffany, if you didn't know that already. Haha.

SECOND, I just graduated high school and am going into my first semester of college! EEK!

THIRD, I'm majoring in early childhood education with a supplement in special education! AND possibly double majoring with culinary!!

FOURTH,  I have a passion for the arts!! I love to write and sing! -I'll have a link to my writings-

FIFTH, I live in good ole Arkansas!! Woo Pig!

SIXTH, My favorite show of all time will always be Secret Life of the American Teenager and Gossip Girl! But my current favorite show is Salem, I'm almost done with season one so I'm going to start either 90210 or One Tree Hill next!!

SEVENTH, My favorite band is 5 Seconds of Summer!! My favorite artist is Demi Lovato, Christina Perri, and Christina Grimmie!!

EIGHTH, I have a passion for makeup also. More like an obsession, actually it's an addiction.

NINTH,  I am a proud now counselor for Arkansas Girls State! If you get the oppurtunity to go to Girls State or Boys State, TAKE IT! It truly is the best experience ever! AND you meet friends that become friends for a life time!

and TENTH, I'm a christian and proud of it! I'm not here to cram religion down your throat but it will be apart of my blog!

So that's ten things about me. I'm sure as time goes on you'll get to know me better and more about me. If not then hopefully you learn something. If not then I have wasted my time and yours.

Talk to you soon!!
